workski

I created the Olympics unit because as associates we have to create a unit or series of lessons and be observed. By the time I got my act together for this deadline, it coincided with the Olympics, thus my topic. SOOOO today I taught a lesson about creating a timeline using the Olympics history. My boss, C, came and she's awesome at what she does. Always gives constructive feedback, knows what she's doing, and talks to us like we are adults. Oh but the kicker is not only was my boss there, but so was the head of the LS...whomp whomp

K says the lesson went well and that I handled the BC and AD part of our timeline really well (tough concept for 7/8 yr olds). But I was still uneasy how the lesson went. In my mind, I pictured it much smoother. I felt like I talked a lot and it was redundant in the process. Kids were zoning Ugh...

So everyone knows I compulsively check email, just as I was setting up I checked my email and i received one from her and how she wants to meet with me about my year and my plans for next year and BEYOND! WTF. Normally I'd give two shits about what a certain somebody thinks, but this year it's different. She is definitely playing a role in where I'm placed next year. I just want to stay with K because we work so well together and we're friends, which adds to the whole experience.

Sidenote: due to these events, I was a fat kid with deep fried chicken fingers and fries oh and beer...
